Guber aspirant, AA Zaura, offers N200m scholarship to Kano students

A governorship aspirant on the platform of APC in Kano, Abdulsalam Abdulkarim, has offered N200m scholarship to 10,000 Kano indigenes studying Nigerian universities, Polytechnics and colleges of education.

The aspirant, popularly known as AA Zaura, is giving the offer through his charitable foundation, AA Zaura Foundation.

“As I promised during my 2022 new year message, this year will see us expanding our various supports and schemes through the AA Zaura Foundation. Part of the fulfilment has come to fruition,” Mr Zaura said in a statement sent to DAILY NIGERIAN.

“It is universal that key to any society’s development is education, hence, I am empowering 10,000 Students of Kano State who are studying in any of the Nigerian public tertiary institution with the sum of N20,000 each.

“We made the form so easy to fill, much that it require not More than 5 minutes of an applicant time. Two thing are needed for upload; copy of admission letter and indigene letter.

“Others follow suit in no distant time; the Zaura Women empowerment that will see to empowering 1 million women, Zaura Climate Project will engage 2 million youths, amongst many other initiatives of this Foundation, insha Allah.”
