The Proprietor of Ibra Foundation School, Miringa, in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, Malam Ibrahim Abubakar, has praised Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for his generous support to orphaned and underprivileged students of the school.
He said Professor Gwarzo, through the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, Kano, sponsored twelve orphaned students by fully paying their school fees for one academic session. The foundation also provided the beneficiaries with school uniforms, bags, writing materials and footwear.
According to the proprietor, the beneficiaries were selected from the Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections of the school, ensuring that students at different educational levels benefited from the intervention. He described the gesture as timely, noting that it has eased the financial burden on families and allowed the children to focus on their studies without fear of dropping out.
Malam Ibrahim Abubakar prayed for Almighty Allah’s abundant reward for Professor Gwarzo and called on other well-meaning individuals and organisations to support the education of vulnerable children.
Also speaking, the Principal of the school, Jibrin A. Jibrin, expressed appreciation to the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, describing the sponsorship as a gesture that has positively changed the lives of the beneficiaries and given them hope for a brighter future.
