The Founder of the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Ummusalma Isiyaka Rabi’u on her appointment as Executive Commissioner at the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
In a statement issued on Sunday, Prof. Gwarzo described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Ummusalma’s competence and commitment, adding that her role will further strengthen consumer protection and fair competition in Nigeria.
He also commended President Bola Tinubu for the choice, stressing that Ummusalma’s appointment reflects confidence in her ability to deliver on the mandate of the FCCPC.
“On behalf of the MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to extend our heartfelt felicitations to Ummusalma on her appointment. We wish her great success in this significant role,” Prof. Gwarzo said.
The educationist prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the new Executive Commissioner long life and good health, urging her to use her position to contribute meaningfully to the development of the Nigerian economy.
