The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) reaffirms its dedication to giving back to the community through a recent donation of vital pharmaceuticals to two esteemed organizations: Muslims Professionals in Da’awah Foundation and Peacecare Foundation.<\/p>\n
This gesture underscores NAHCON’s unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility and its resolve to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Prof. Abubakar A. Yagawal, NAHCON’s Commissioner of Planning, Research, Statistics, Information, and Library Services (PRSILS), presided over a donation ceremony at the Hajj House in Abuja, marking a significant gesture of support for the recipient organizations<\/p>\n
Speaking at the event, Prof. Yagawal highlighted the importance of supporting organizations that are dedicated to community service and healthcare delivery. He emphasized that the donation is part of NAHCON’s broader initiative to contribute to the well-being of Nigerians, especially those who are actively engaged in improving health and promoting peace through Da\u2019awah and other humanitarian activities.<\/p>\n
The donated pharmaceuticals were originally procured for use during this year’s Hajj operation. After the successful conclusion of the Hajj, a surplus of these medications remained.<\/p>\n
Muslim Professionals in Da\u2019wah was represented by the National Amir, Umar Farouk Bello, while Dr. Aisha Sidiqi represented Peace Care Foundation. <\/p>\n
Both representatives expressed their deep gratitude to NAHCON for the generous donation. <\/p>\n
They noted that the pharmaceuticals would significantly aid in their ongoing efforts to provide medical care to underprivileged communities and promote peace and stability through their outreach programs.<\/p>\n
