The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), has matriculated 3,870 students into various departments for the 2021\/2022 academic session.<\/p>\n
The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the University, Prof. Armaya\u2019u Hamisu-Bichi, disclosed this during the matriculation on Monday at Dutsinma Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina.<\/p>\n
According to the vice Chancellor, the matriculated students were from the more than 10,000 candidates that applied for admission into the institution.<\/p>\n
He described the university which was established in 2012 with only three faculties as one of the well-sought universities in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
Hamisu-Bichi added that \u201cit started with only three Faculties in 2012 and now it has 12 faculties with several departments under them as well as a Post-Graduate School.<\/p>\n
\u201cOut of all the more than 10,000 candidates that applied to this university, today, we are matriculating 3,870 students into various Departments in their respective faculties. <\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, I share with you the joy of being admitted into the respective programmes of your choice. I once again welcome you all to this wonderful serene environment\u201d.<\/p>\n
The VC, while encouraging the students to concentrate on their studies as the school rewards excellent performances, also warned them on engaging in social vices, cultism and examination misconduct.<\/p>\n
The new students were also advised to take advantage of the sports facilities and avoid indecent dressing.<\/p>\n
