Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria has recorded another academic milestone as all its Medical Laboratory Science students who sat for the 2026 Final Professional Examination passed successfully, achieving a 100 percent success rate.<\/p>\n
The outstanding performance further reinforces the university’s growing reputation for academic excellence.<\/p>\n
Medical Laboratory Science students are required to undertake three professional examinations during their programme. <\/p>\n
The first is written in the second semester of 400 Level, followed by the second and final professional examinations in 500 Level, as stipulated by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).<\/p>\n
According to the 2026 Final Professional Examination result summary released by the MLSCN, all 88 MAAUN students who participated in the examination passed with impressive grades.<\/p>\n
The achievement represents another landmark for the university, reflecting the quality of its teaching, rigorous academic standards, and the dedication of both students and faculty members.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the results, the President of MAAUN, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, congratulated the students on their exceptional performance and described the feat as historic.<\/p>\n
He noted that recording a 100 percent pass rate in a highly competitive professional examination is a testament to the university’s commitment to producing competent healthcare professionals capable of meeting global standards.<\/p>\n
