The founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has offered his condolences to former First Lady, Hajia Maryam Sani Abacha, on the passing of her Chief Security Officer, Alhaji Musa Ya’u.
Alhaji Musa Ya’u, aged 55, died on Wednesday, 15th May, 2024, in Abuja after a brief illness.
In a statement, on Wednesday, Prof. Gwarzo expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the late CSO, describing him as a dedicated and hardworking security officer.
He noted that the demise of Alhaji Musa Ya’u is a significant loss not only to his immediate family but also to the entire family of the former First Lady.
Prof. Gwarzo prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased the highest level of Jannah (Jannatul Firdaus) and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
The deceased, who is survived by his aged mother, one wife, and eight children, will be buried on Thursday, 16th May, 2024, in his hometown, Katsina, in accordance with Islamic rites. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
